And that's when she attempts to hit him with a Blindness Curse, a bit of Dark Magic she worked up to incapacitate any troublesome opponents, followed by a kick to his knee, to force him down. Even without her two Crests, Edelgard still learned how to use an axe and fight in heavy armour, then spent five years honing those skills in war. She is stronger than people might think, and her blows still have weight to them.
