Avalon Summer Fashion Show!
🧙 WHO: Mukuro and OPEN! (Mingle log)
⚔️️ WHAT: The Summer Fashion Show!
🕒 WHEN: 15th August (Backdated)
🗺️ WHERE: The Beach
⚠️ WARNINGS: None yet!
Despite Mukuro's apparent breakdown earlier in the month, the Summer Fashion show that she announced earlier goes ahead as planned on the bright, sunny Sunday of 15th August. Whilst it seemed intended to be a little more freeform than the last- in no small part due to said breakdown making planning a little more rushed- Mukuro was still running the entire event more like a military operation than anything else...
Summer fashions were the theme of the morning catwalk and display, with an array of cute summer dresses and skirts, cool summer shorts, even a yukata- along with a few less traditional choices. Some of the styles seemed to be either strangely mismatched or poorly coordinated, but that's just fashion for you, right?
There's a break with a Barbecue set up around lunchtime- anyone helping out with the event gets their food for free, of course, but the prices Mukuro's set aren't too unreasonable for attendees. Bottles of sunscreen and water are free for everyone, though. Wouldn't want anyone getting burned or dehydrated!
And the afternoon takes advantage of the beach setting to show off Swimwear! Wouldn't be a fashion show without a swimsuit round...right? Maybe? Regardless, you'd think it would be hard to go wrong with swimsuits, but somehow some of the designs still managed to veer away from fashionable into tacky...
There's plenty of mingle time between the different parts of the show, of course- and why not have a paddle in the bay afterwards? The water's great! So come along, have fun, and try to ignore any...odd choices Mukuro's made along the way.
