"GAH!!" the thug lets Alice go, clutching his arm as the knife makes a solid slice into it. "Son of a-"

Alice fell to the ground with an "oomph!" and quickly tried to scramble back up to her feet to get away but the thug steps on her hand as he stumbles back, trying to figure out what just happened and unintentionally keeping her pinned in place unless she wanted to damage her hand under his boot.

She lets out another cry of pain and manages to get up, her now torn white tights becoming red in places from the scrapes and cuts on her legs from the fall and the attacks from the thug.

The thug sees Zidane coming and manages to get the short sword up he had intended for Alice up in time to protect himself against the attack.
