The little goat continues to cry and struggle, but at the offering of the clovers it calms a little to sniff. It then looks back at Eustace who is just staring down at him and it bleats in protest again.

You say you're friendly, but look at this guy holding me!! IT'S A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING!!!

Or so it says and Eustace can hear it clearly, so he just sighs.
