Mandrakes

[Azul is more than happy to get the hell out of Celliwig at this point. He has a meeting with some traders to get to, everything about the mirrors was a pain in the ass, and he really misses his bed.

So of course he's just giving the guy asking him for help with the mandrakes the most Tired and Annoyed Look known to man. If looks could kill, this guy would be so dead not even a necromancer could fix it.]

I really don't have time, and I don't really do this sort of thing for free. Doubly so when I have places to be. I'm sorry, you're just going to have to find someone else--

Look, if you help, you can take the damn things. They've got all sorts of uses for potions! And I'll pay you.

...you said they were mandrakes? I know several things you can use those for...

[So yeah, if you look stronger than Azul (not hard), he'll be flagging you down so he can get some of this. And also money.]

Fresh Waters

[Unlike just about everyone else, Azul doesn't seem to the panicking in the slightest even as he swims around with the lower half of an octopus, his skin now an odd shade of purple. He's also a lot larger than he normally is, though that's probably mostly because he has eight tentacles now. If anything he...almost seems to be in his element, quickly gathering his things and throwing them into a bag before taking off.

And then coming back around when he passes by another cecaelia.

Muttered as he approaches:]

It's actually painful to watch this... [And then, more clearly:] You're trying to swim like a human. Suck the water in your siphon and eject it-- [a quick glance to see where the other end of the siphon might be here] --probably around your hips.

[He may hate people seeing him like this, but, frankly, there are bigger things to worry about. Like all these humans embarrassing him.

Is this what humans thought about him and the twins when they were learning to walk? God.]

Fresh Waters -- Other

[Of course, cecaelia or not, perhaps at some point you get near the surface and are now trying to figure out how to get out of the water. Perhaps you even flounder about for a bit.

That's when a very strong tentacle wraps around your waist. You have three seconds before you are suddenly just thrown onto the shore like you weigh no more than a sand dollar.

Out in the water, you can see Azul watching you.]

Camelot

[After all of that, Azul can be found in Camelot outside a building of dark brick with some papers in his hand and looking at his phone. If you're passing by, you might hear him talking to himself.]

Landscapers, suppliers, interior designers who aren't going to argue with me... [A sigh] This would be so much easier if Jade were here.

[By strongarming the headmaster into it because Azul had over half the student body's magic locked away in contracts and safes but eeeeh. Details~]

[ Wait, now he's even a builder on top of it all?! How many jobs or talents exactly does this guy have, Minako wonders.

What is Night Raven?

[ Might as well ask that, since it's the one part of what he's saying that she can't figure out by herself. ]

[Not all that many, he just has a godly charisma stat.]

Night Raven College, one of the best all-boys schools back home. Despite the name, it's not a university.

[ It's hard to determine whether she's really playing clueless - totally possible - or if it's just that she was so lost in the daydreaming that she only half-heard him - also entirely possible when it's Minako, really.

Hence why she just blankly blinks at him. ]

With that look. It's a prestigious high school, not...whatever you're imagining it is.

But.. you know what kind of stuff happens at prestigious high schools, right? [ Yes, Minako.

That's where the real good stuff happens! Guys who have to hide their true feelings for each other because of their social status.. having a crush on the prince of the school!

I've been there two years and not once has anyone hidden any crushes on anyone.

And I don't think anyone has a crush on either of the princes at school, they're both terrifying.

[And assholes, but.]

[ Minako stops for a moment. She seems to come down from cloud nine - but not all the way yet. Like she's still stuck midway on cloud four at the moment as she stares at the guy, blinking in surprise. ]

Are you saying no one's come to you for a love-related favour?

Not even once?

[ Please, that can't be true! That's not how schools like that are supposed to work! ]

Once. In middle school, because he was an idiot who couldn't figure out what present to get his crush. But love charms and anything like that are illegal where I'm from, and most of guys at school would rather either stew in their emotions or just confess on their own than ask someone else.

.. ahh, I guess guys really will be guys..

[ How is Minako supposed to get the scoop on these sorts of things when they have to be so plain about it? Geez.

She sighs. Yes, she is this invested in a school she's never heard about before and will never see with her own eyes. She's invested in anything when it comes to love! ]

But that means there totally could have been secret romances you just didn't know about, right? Because they wouldn't have told you!

[And at that, Azul just smiles!

It may not be the nicest of smiles, but it's perfectly pleasant!]
