He nods, hand sneaking between the bars to find and squeeze Hythlodaeus' gently.

It's at this point the guard finally - albeit reluctantly - clears their throat and informs Hythlodaeus that their time is up and he will have to shorten the chains once more. Hades sighs quietly but retracts his hand.

"I will wait for you, 'Daeus," he murmurs. "[I love you.]"

The last words spoken in their native tongue so the guard cannot understand - at least, he hopes they don't.
