Edelgard meets the false Saint's gaze, keeping her hand on Flayn's shoulder. "Of course I don't know you. You don't exist." She replies evenly. "Your stories aren't Flayn's. They were written for her, while she slept. You exist only in parables and statuary. But you're right about one thing." She turns to look at Flayn now and smiles.
"I don't know Flayn half as well as I should like. But, now I can. I have that opportunity to know her as she is, because she is my friend and her stories are finally her own to write now.
