Her eyes well up further, tears actually starting to fall, and she nods slowly in response to him.]

[Marianne turns her attention back to the mirror, and something seems to snap in her expression. Before she even fully realizes what she's doing, she pulls away from Juzo and runs at it, brandishing a bony sword that she still sort of resents, but brought with her for the fight. With a shrieking cry, she smashes the mirror with the blade. There's a flash of blue light that flitters from the mirror to places elsewhere, and the monster fades.
In the silence that follows, Marianne looks back at Juzo. Just as quickly, she's back to being awkward and sad.]
