"It certainly has," he responds rather smoothly, eyes trailing down as considers her outfit as a whole. He doesn't exactly believe her, but it's not important enough to warrant any sort of argument.

"The sun is fairly bright here. A bold light makes for deeper shadows." He continues eying her a bit more before shifting away to glance at their surroundings. "The people in this city move like insects without a sense of purpose."
