The puff ball hopped down from the kid's shoulder and down to the ground. She supposed that some people might consider it cute as it squeaked up at her, but the gunner remained unmoved.

She watched though as he put his backpack down and seemed to pat it into the right shape. It wasn't long after that the bird from before swooped down to perch itself on the top of the bag.

The sight caused her brow to rise up in question.
