For all the differences in Avalon, I don't feel like a complete outsider here. Altea might have had more advanced technology, but it also had magic, monsters, and kingdoms like Avalon. And even if most of the people arriving here are human, there's still enough of a mix that I'm not the only strange one...

In fact, there's even some that look fairly Altean. I'm not sure how many I would be able to find back in my own universe...
