The cat leaps up onto a nearby perch with the ball in its mouth and watches as the dogs all stop at the bottom and bark up at it, their tails still wagging with excitement.]

A friend of mine has a few cats of his own. They're all really sweet... but you can never tell what they're thinking.

[She settles down on the floor with her legs crossed as another, more timid dog wanders up to check them out. This one is bigger and not as excitable, but still just as friendly. She lets him sniff around, watching as he circles Eustace.]
